In the filmi grading system, the girl8217;s moved from Grade B to Grade A. After starting out with the new Jani Dushman and the very sidey Ladies Tailor, actress Prity Bhutani is now looking forward to a kitty of hot stuff including Khalbali Hai Khalbali, Vikalp, and Ajay Devgan starrer Golmaal Hai -2 and Ek 8211; The Power of One. In a free wheelin8217; conversation, Prity shares how she never imagined joining films. 8220;I come from a very conservative Sikh family, and the thought of being an actress never crossed my mind,8221; she chose commerce and limited her potential to college dramas. 8220;Somehow theatre continued post college too and it was after I started getting modelling offers that the road to Bollywood opened.8221; It was two short films with Tanuja Chandra, who is quite a hard task master, ad films, kathak lessons from Sitara Devi8217;s daughter, Jayanti Mala, till she got a break opposite Sharad Kapoor in Jani Dushman. 8220;Well, work just rolled in, there was Ladies Tailor, Tamil and Kannad projects, and now, there8217;s Ek 8211; The Power of One, produced by K.Sera and Sangeet Sivan, Ajay Chandok8217;s Khalbali Hai Khalbali, a dance number in Vikalp8230;8221; she reels sticking to the glitz and glamour.
