VADODARA, May 19: The Gujarat Electricity Board GEB has shut down three electricity sub-stations in Jamnagar as a precautionary measure. Special control rooms have also been established in the wake of a cyclone threat in Gujarat.
According to highly placed sources, Varvada, Bhatia and Armudha sub-stations near Jamnagar have been shut down from 1 p.m. on Wednesday to prevent any damage to machinery and people in the areas served by them.
