Freedom 8217;99

PUNE, Aug 13: A series of programmes called Freedom 8217;998217; has been organised by a group of Christians. The first programme A celebration and a challenge8217; will be held at Nehru Memorial Hall on August 14 from 5.30 pm onwards.

The first part of the programme will celebrate our 52nd year of independence, with various groups from the city performing cultural programmes. The second part will have talks including those by Arun Bhatia, former divisional commissioner of Pune and Dr Jacob Thomas, an eminent thinker and member of Union Biblical Seminary. Entry is free and open to all.
