Four arrested for killing man

A thirty-year-old man was allegedly murdered in the Gandhinagar slums of Pimpri on late Thursday night.

A thirty-year-old man was allegedly murdered in the Gandhinagar slums of Pimpri on late Thursday night. Four persons have been arrested in connection with the case. The incident occurred at 11.45 pm. The deceased has been identified as Ravi Vadmare. His brother Navnath Vadmare has filed a complaint at the Pimpri police station.

According to the complaint, four men attacked Ravi with sickles and iron rods. They severely injured him and he bled to death.

The four men 8212; Bharat Gaikwad 37, Pratap Gaikwad 45, Ranhari Gaikwad 48 and Samrat Gaikwad 24 8212; who are residents of Gandhinagar slums, have been arrested. They have been booked under IPC Sections 302 and 34.

According to the police, Bharat suspected that his wife Alka and Ravi were in an affair. Thus, enraged family members, along with Bharat, attacked Ravi.
