Mohammed Azharuddin pulled a coup of sorts when he went off to England as the captain of the Indian World Cup contingent — despite major flak on home turf. Before that he pulled off a mega-contract by signing up with Tissot as its ambassador. But behind every sucessful man is a woman. And Azza knows that. Which is why his wife is joining him in England while he plays cricket. It is also the reason why he picks Sangeeta Bijlani as the most beautiful woman in the world. He met the ex-Miss India and former film star during a suiting ad that shot them together, four years ago. But it was not just her beauty that captivated the cricketer. "There was something about her that I really liked right from the first time we met. She has a good heart."

For Azza, beauty is not just limited to women. People in the field of sport are also his icons. Bjorn Borg, the Swedish Wimbeldon champion, and American Basketball player Magic Johnson also rank among his stars. "I really liked Borg as he always kept his cool and neverlet his emotions show, no matter how difficult a game was getting." He tries to emulate him at all times. But if India goes on a winning spree we think he might have a problem hiding his jubilation.
