IT8217;S news that all Gujaratis can use. Two years ago Anand-based immigration consultants Minesh Patel and Ashish Soni beat competition in the region by launching a newspaper on immigration issues. They converted their consultancy expertise into a Gujarati fortnightly Immigration Times.

Claiming to be first of its kind, its readership has spread across Gujarat and neighbouring Diu and Daman. Its print order is 8,000 but demands of reprints are common.

8216;8216;As consultants we realised that there are many a fly-by-night operators. So we decided to give genuine information through a regular publication,8217;8217; says Minesh Patel.

No surprise that the clocks in their office are tuned in not only to Indian Standard Time, but to that of the UK, US and New Zealand. Immigration Times columnists include Immigration lawyers, community leaders abroad. The publication keeps the readers updated with the latest rule of embassies.
