Lady Like
This one took everyone by surprise. Running all through last week, almost like an anthem on 94.3 My FM was the song 8216;Laila Oh Laila8217; and while the regular RJs took their turns behind the mike, they also had a special guest in attendance this Monday. And yes, you guessed it, her name is Laila. 8220;She8217;s not a guest, but our new RJ,8221; informed the radio station8217;s regional programming head Ritu Ghai. Interestingly, the new radio jockey is set to host the uber popular morning show 8216;Khichdi8217; that airs between 11 am and 2 pm, Monday through Friday. With Laila taking over this Tuesday, the show8217;s promising to be a lot more fun. But just in case you are wondering what8217;s a girl called Laila doing on a women8217;s hour show, well, the producers let us know that Laila is in fact a 8220;balanced blend of modernity and traditionalism, kitchen expertise and full business knowledge.8221; The newly-wed Laila, we are told, will connect with all and dish gyan on all things worldly wise and not! 8220;She8217;s a cheerful, up and about lady of today who will spice up Khichdi every day,8221; summed up Ghai. Tune in!

Little Princess
Tiny they may be, but nothing stops babies from stealing away the spotlight. And when the spotlight is meant just for them, they come prepared. Sutlej Public School- Sector 2, Panchkula held Prince/ Princess Contest 2008 recently. And in the category of 0 to 6 month olds, Anmol Jannat Sarwal was the 8216;Princess8217; all the way. Dressed in blue, the infant look all prepared and confident for the attention. Way to go!
