Vacation time is here again and the Go Bananas Kids Club is back again for some great activities for the little ones in the city with a two-week workshop for children of all ages at the New Public School from December 23 and January 3, between 11 and 1.30 pm. Says Anu Vala, Director Childcare, 8220;this camp emphasizes on creative arts for the little ones, with sculpting and painting, physical workouts with dancing and yoga, music, games and expression of arts through theatre. AJAY Swaroop, chief general manager, State Bank of India, Chandigarh Circle, handed over a cheque of Rs 5,76,220 for purchase of a Tata Winger van with medical care unit to Bhavneshwar Sharma, State Manager, Helpage India, Chandigarh. The Mobile Medical Care Unit Van provided by the bank will be used for medical assistance of elderly poor in ten rural villages on all working days of the week around Amritsar with a motive to reach the unreached.
