This is perhaps the best time to go on shopping spree. With Diwali not too far off and Karva Chauth around the corner, sisters-in-law Neha and Shilpi have put together a festive spread for the ladies at Sector 8 H. no 555. 8220;This is one time that everyone is looking forward to,8221; tells Neha who has rolled out a four-day special for Karva Chauth by bringing in an exhibition of suits and sarees along with diamond jewellery. Completing the festivities is a mehndi- wallah and colourful bangles on sale. First up are heavy suits with sequines, gota patti and stone work. 8220;The sequins we are using are imported from Japan,8221; explained Neha. While colour is at play here with bright tones and equally bright motifs and embellishments, it8217;s the block print collection that8217;s worth a dekko. Working with pure fabrics such as crepe, silk, georgette, the two have designed block-printed sarees that look far from being just prints! The block print suits come in crepes with heavy dupattas complete with fine trimmings and there8217;s also a range of kurtis and semi-formal wear. The exhibition is on till October 15.
