Fog obstructs traffic

CHANDIGARH, Dec 13: With early morning fog obstructing traffic, a heavy rush was witnessed at the inter-state bus terminus in the evening. Commuters said fog on the highway was so thick in the early hours that visibility was virtually reduced to zero and traffic slowed down to a crawl.

Moderate fog was also experienced in the city towards late evening today. Weather experts say that fog is experienced in winter months if humidity is high and there is no wind.
