Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh today described the BJP8217;s decision to pursue 8216;8216;cultural nationalism theme8217;8217; during the forthcoming Assembly elections in several states, as 8216;8216;cultural terrorism8217;8217;. 8216;8216;I am happy that they disclosed their hidden agenda at last,8217;8217; he said talking to mediapersons at the Dumna airfield here this morning.

8216;8216;Right since Rath Yatra taken out by L.K. Advani in 1990 to the recent Gaurav Yatra in Gujarat, they have done the same thing by spreading cultural terrorism,8217;8217; he said.

Explaining his recent statement about taking revenge of Congress drubbing in Gujarat Assembly elections in the forthcoming Assembly election in Madhya Pradesh, Singh said he would not allow riots to take place in the state and BJP to implement its 8216;8216;formula8217;8217; of 8216;8216;inciting8217;8217; riots and winning elections.

The Chief Minister said RSS AND VHP leaders should stop behaving as if they were the sole thekedaars contractors of the Hindu society. 8216;8216;I am also Hindu and I would like to know since when they have donned the mantle of Hindu community,8217;8217; he asked.

Singh charged the RSS and the VHP with serving Pakistan8217;s cause by creating a social divide between the Hindus and the Muslims.

The Chief Minister said Hindu and Muslim fundamentalist elements were responsible for spread of violence in the country and it was our duty to curb them jointly.

8216;8216;We should create an environment so that the minorities feel secure and justice is done to them,8217;8217; he added. Singh said the Madhya Pradesh government would monitor statements of RSS and VHP leaders and if they violate the law, action would be taken accordingly.

On issues during the campaign, Singh said that the party would go to people with achievements during its ten-year rule in the state and 8216;8216;failures8217;8217; of NDA Government at the Centre.

He said the communal and fundamentalist elements would be dealt with firmly and they would not be allowed to raise their 8216;8216;ugly8217;8217; head.
