Fifty schools in Chennai to get computer education

CHENNAI, Feb 16: The Chennai Corporation proposes to extend multi-media computer education to 50 schools at a cost of Rs 4 crores, the Mayor, M K Stalin, said here on Tuesday. Presiding over the inaugural function of the Integrated Online Computer Network8217; at the Ripon Building Corporation headquarters, he said the civic body planned to extend multimedia computer education to 25 Corporation high schools this year and another 25 schools the next year.
