As for the Hindutva lovers and the BJP, they have done nothing for the well-being of the holy cows. Adopting the cow for political gain is selfish and pathetic.

A motivating programme should be launched to guide the public to restore the ancient practice of separating vegetable-waste for consumption of cows on streets. However, his attempt to give a clean chit to the Congress government is unjustified. The country faced its worst times during the rule of the Congress. The cause of this gratuitous omission on his part may be old loyalty. His assumption that the personal greed of ministers is keeping the present coalition going is also not off the mark. Nonetheless, he has conveniently forgotten the scam in which his name had figured. A case of selective amnesia?
