Eminent writers must guide budding ones

PATIALA, Oct 3: Established and eminent writers must come forward to guide budding writers, Madan Lal Hasiza, director of the Punjab Languages Department said here today.

Delivering the presidential address at the Jagdish Singh Armani memorial function organised by Punjabi Sahit Sabha here, he said this would help check the level of quot;pollution in Punjabi literaturequot;. He also exhorted scholars to come forward to give suggestions to provide a good look to Punjabi language and its literature. He said Jagdish Singh Armani had played a vital role in promoting Punjabi language in the state and he will be remembered for his contribution for long. He also released a book written by late Jagdish Singh Armani.
