Elderly women conned

BANGALORE, Nov 23: A elderly women was relieved of gold earnings andcash in K P Agraha police staiton limitson Sunday. Police said Pravathamma had gone to buy vegetables on Magadi Road, where she came across a stranger who was planning to sell her jewellery. The stranger told Parathamma that she was selling the jewellery as she was short of money for her medical treatment. During the course of the conversation, a man intervened and valued the jewellery at Rs 7,000. Later, the man placed a handkerchief on Parvathamma’s face which made her unconscious.
