Directing debut
Parikshit Sahani is making news. He is one of the busiest actors with as many as five serials 8212; Aashiqui, Alpviram, Heena, Chandrakanta, Noorjahan. And now he is directing a children8217;s film Pakda Gaya Par Kaun for CFS which is being produced by his mother, Santosh Sahani. And how many of you know that Parikshit Sahani was trained as a director in Europe? 8220;I did a five year course there. But acting is in my blood and it happened and clicked so I didn8217;t get into direction. My main passion has been writing and direction,8221; says Sahani and adds that the name of this game is growth. He8217;s also writing a few scripts like Hum Dono for Ravi Chopra, Disha for Cinevista. 8220;But I won8217;t quit acting,8221; he assures us.

Recently, an actress by the name of Ritu called him on his cell phone and told him that there was a problem as someone had told her boyfriend that she was having an affair with Anoop due to which she8217;d a tiff with her boyfriend. The fact is that they don8217;t even know each other. But she wanted Soni to call up her boyfriend and tell him that there was nothing between them and didn8217;t even know her. She kept pestering him on his cell and when he reached home there were half a dozen messages on his answering machine from the same Ritu peppered with language most foul. Finally, he gave her a sound8217; thrashing by yelling at her on the phone. He asked he not to call again or else he8217;d complain to the police. 8220;Why should I talk to her boyfriend, in fact why should I talk to her?8221; he asks, incensed. 8220;I just don8217;t know her. Nitish Bharadwaj is the talk of tellywood these days. Recently, he turned producer-director with Gita Rahasya and now we hear it8217;s being telecast on Doordarshan from June 13. It would be replacing Ramanand Sagar8217;s Shri Krishna on Sundays, 9 am. It may be recalled that he played the role of Krishna in B R Chopra8217;s Mahabharat which brought him name and fame. In Gita Rahasya too, he plays the role of Krishna. Draupadi is played by Lata Sabarwal from Lucknow. Yudhistir is played by Virendra Singh, Nakul by Ravi Gosain and Balram by Amit Behl.
