NEW DELHI, June 29:The Delhi Vidyut Board has said that power in many areas in the city was disrupted as a result of the rains but that there was 8220;no large-scale8221; breakdown. 8220;Whenever the rains come, tripping is normal,8221; said member technical Y.P. Singh.

The DVB also announced that due to shortage, supply to Mandawali, Jhandewalan, Delhi Gate, Chandni Chowk, Police Colony, South Ex, Green Park, Masjid Moth, Saket, Sheikh Sarai, Andheria Bagh, Sunder Nagar and Janakpuri would be disrupted.
