SAS NAGAR, AUG 31: Congress candidate for Roopnagar (reserved) Lok Sabha constituency Shamsher Singh Dullo today visited three different places in the township and alleged that the BJP-SAD combine had made a mess of funds allocated for the state.While addressing a gathering at Phase IX, Industrial Area, Dullo said Beant Singh freed Punjab from the shackles of terrorism, kidnapping, extortion and inhuman acts in the state. He claimed that after Congress came to power, the industry flourished because of good industrial policies. He said both the BJP-SAD and Congress have been tested by people and they were the best judge. He also planted a sapling on the occasion.An industrialist R.S.Sachdeva said the subsidy has not been released by the government and also highlighted other demands of the industrialists. A cash amount of Rs 25,000 was also presented to Dullo by an unknown person on this occasion.He also visited Phase I, Industrial Area and also campaigned outside the Punjab School Education Board, in Phase VIII of the township.
