Do it like rugby: Becks to team

David Beckham believes England’s football squad can take inspiration from the way the country’s rugby team triumphed in the World Cup last year in their quest for glory at Euro 2004. ‘‘I was over in England when the Rugby World Cup was won and it was some incredible scenes of joy for many people. I dreamt of what it would mean if the same thing happened with the football team. What people have got to think about is if that was big, imagine what it would be like if the football team pulled off the same sort of thing.
