Discrimination in postings 8212; Govt Museum workers alleged

CHANDIGARH, MAY 16: Members of the Government Museum and Art Gallery Employees8217; Union, Chandigarh, today resented the alleged callous attitude of the Director of the Museum towards their demands.

They alleged that the Director had flouted the Supreme Court ruling in regard to the basic posting procedures. The general secretary of the Union alleged that the Director had posted some on compassionate grounds instead of applying the general procedures.

They said that such procedures encroach on their rights.
