Dirba sub division of PSEB opened

PATIALA, Dec 1: Member of PSEB Administration Baldev Singh Mann inaugurated the office of Dirba division yesterday which has been upgraded from Dirba sub-division of the PSEB in Sangrur district which will provide better facilities to the consumers of 73 villages of the area.

In his inaugural address, Mann said the people of the area that Dirba division would be the first model division of the PSEB in which agricultural consumers would be allowed to install personal transformers upon their agricultural connections to improve the voltage conditions. He also issued demand notices to certain consumers.

He announced that all villages of the Dirba area would be given 24 hours supply before March 31 next. With new grid sub stations, supply voltage would be considerably improved in the area. To improve the quality of supply to the general consumers, a new scheme to provide single phase transformers in the villages of the area is being introduced very soon.
