Delhi have the edge

Delhi are there, almost. And Karnataka, theoretically, can also reach through; sighting a semi-final spot, the two teams meet tomorrow at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here in a Group A encounter of the Super League. Delhi currently lead the points tally with 17 points and need a first innings lead to make it to the last four stage while Karnataka, who have 9 from five games need to win both their remaining games ouright.

Delhi will be without Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir, out with a sore shoulder. On the other side, an indisposed Robin Uthappa is also likely to miss out of this crucial encounter.
