Property tax date extended to Nov 30
The Pay-By-Date for payment of property tax dues for the year 1998- 99 along with rebate has been extended to November 30. Earlier the last date was October 31.

Municipal Commissioner V K duggal said that all property owners can now avail rebate till November 30 and those hwo have not recieved their bills, can take duplicate bills from the zones or units where the property is assessed. For the convenience of tax-payers, Duggal also said all offices of the Assessment and Collection Department would remain open between 9.30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on all Saturdays falling in the month of November.

Sanjivini crisis centres working
The crisis intervention centres run by Sanjivini8217;, a Non-Government Organisation NGO continue to function as before while a day-care centre for the mentally ill which was closed8217; temporarily following internal problems, plans to re-open shortly, said Shailendra Mohan, Director. The crisis intervention centres for the mentally disturbed continue to function as usual, both at the Defence Colony branch and Qutab Institutional Area, he added.
