Man who served 10 years for raping a minor held for raping six-year-old again

The incident took place when the girl was sleeping with her parents in a hut on their farm.

A man,who had earlier served ten years in jail for raping a minor,has been arrested again for allegedly raping a six-year-old girl in Sunera village about 10 km away from the district headquarters,police said today.

The incident took place yesterday,when the minor girl was sleeping with her parents in a hut on their farm.

The accused,identified as Gokul Bagri (40),first gagged the victim,quietly took her away from the hut and then raped her,Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) R K Mishra told

reporters.

After committing the crime,he dumped the victim near her hut and when her parents spotted the girl crying with pain they informed the police about the incident.

Earlier in 2000,Bagri was jailed for ten years for raping a four-year-old girl and was jailed for ten years,police said adding that he had been released from jail in 2010. Further investigation is on.
