Two held for cheating
Sleuths of the Detection of Crime Branch on Monday arrested two persons, Lala Somabhai Bhagat and Ramu Lalubhai Solanki on the charge of cheating people by selling imitation jewellery as genuine. According to a complaint lodged by Viralkumar Kiritkumar Vyas, a resident of Sathar society, the two came to his house and sold a gold8217; chain for Rs 10,000 to his wife.

Two killed
Two persons were reported killed in different road mishaps in the city on Monday morning. According to the police, one Shankar Dhanaji, a resident of Dashrath village , was run over by a tempo near Ranoli Crossing. In another incident, one Rajubhai was hit by a truck near the Hanuman Temple, Waghodia at 7.30 a.m.
