Pedestrian killed
A pedestrian Shiv Parshad, who had been knocked down by a scooter CH-01-U-0258 on the Sector 45-46 dividing road succumbed to his injuries at the PGI. He was a resident of Colony No.5. and had been admitted to the PGI yesterday. A case has been registered at Police Station, South, and the police investigating.

3 scooterists hurt
Three scooterists have been injured in seperate incidents. In an hit and run case, Sector 41 resident Jagdish Parshad was injured when his scooter CH-01-C-1572 was hit by a Contessa DL-8C-4722 near the Dhillon Cinema in Mani Majra. In another incident, two scooterists Manoj Grover and Mukesh Chawla, were injured when their scooter CH-01-E-9719 was hit by a Maruti van, driven by Amrik Singh. The injured have been admitted to Sector 16 general hospital and seperate cases have been registered.

Scooter stolen
A resident of Panchkula Sector 10, Deepak Sharma, has reported that his scooter HR-03-B-0237 has been stolen from the parking lot of the Government Medical College, Sector 32. A case has been registered.

Car stolen
A Sector 35 resident, Col T.S. Sidhu retd, has reported that his white Maruti Car CH-01-S-4022 has been stolen from outside his residence. A case has been registered at the Sector 36 police station and police are pursuing the matter. Original papers are with the owner.
