Minor girl abducted
Sector 23 resident Manohar Lal reported that another resident of the sector, Madan Lal, had abducted his minor daughter. The police are investigating and have registered a case.

Three held for harassing women
Three persons have been arrested for allegedly harassing women. Sanjay of Sector 45 was nabbed from near Sector 42 Government College for Girls, Panchkula resident Gaurav was caught from the Sector 36 market, while Kharar resident Vinod Kumar was caught from a bus stop in Sector 42. Three separate cases have been registered.

Two held for affray
The city police have arrested Kali Ram and Mangal Ram of Ram Darbar for quarrelling at a public place and causing affray.
