MUMBAI, March 23: Suburban train services during the morning peak hour time were affected following problems on both CR and WR today.
Trains were running late between 15 minutes to half-an-hour following signal failure and rail fracture. However, the services were back to normal soon.
A CR spokesperson said the rail fracture occurred between Mumbra and Kalwa on the CR8217;s main line holding rail traffic for over 30 minutes at 9 am.
While on the Western Railway, a technical snag near Dadar station resulted in the trains being diverted on the slow line. This caused the trains to be delayed by 30 minutes.
