NEW DELHI, Aug 4: The Congress today renewed its attack on United Front chairman H D Deve Gowda accusing him of hobnobbing with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).Party spokesperson V N Gadgil said while Gowda charged the Congress with trying to destroy the Janata Dal, at the Dal's national council meeting yesterday, he didn't say a word against the BJP. Gadgil saw this as evidence of Gowda's links with the BJP. ``We have no intention of destroying the Janata Dal, we don't indulge in negative politics. What is more significant is that Gowda didn't utter a single word against the BJP. The links between Gowda and the BJP are now getting more and more visible,'' Gadgil said.He referred to Gowda's having addressed an Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) rally where he praised the Sangh cadre, a charge which BJP leader Atal Behari Vajpayee made against Gowda last year when Gowda was seeking his vote of confidence in Parliament.
