Computerised draft issue service at SBP, Mohali

CHANDIGARH, May 31: With a view to provide efficient draft issue service to the customers, State Bank of Patiala yesterday introduced a computerised draft issue service at its Phase VII, Mohali branch.

Reserve Bank of India General Manager K. Vijayaraghvan, after the inauguration, emphasised on the need to computerise all branches to meet customer demands in the changing banking scenario. K.S. Bhagel, GM, State Bank of Patiala, informed that in order to cut short the delay in crediting the amount to customer8217;s account, clearing documents are now being accepted by the branches in Chandigarh and Mohali up to 4.15 pm.
