The undisputed holy cow is wholly holy no doubt. Strange are the ways of God. We have heard of, if not seen, stones shaped like the much worshipped and revered Lord Ganesh, but it is very rare that the cow gets so much attention and attains a fruity form which belongs to Lucas D8217;souza of Bhagyodaya Nagar in Kondhwa. Parvati, the hill crowned by temples is an integral park of the city8217;s landscape. This historic landmark the city also doubles up as a paradise for morning and evening walks. And now, Sharangdhar Pharma Ltd has announced Chyavangrans 99 Parvati Climbing Competition8217;, a competition to climb this hill in the shortest time. The event is to be held on November 28 between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m.8220;The main aim of the company is to promote health activities among the Punekars. A similar competition had been arranged two years ago and was received very well which is why it has been reorganised,8221; says organiser Anuradha Tapkir.

The competition has been divided into different age groups of 10-18, 18-35, 35-55 and above 55 Those below 18 years will have to provide a letter of consent from their parents as well as a fitness certificate from a doctor.. There are separate groups for males and females. Free registration has started from November 15 and will continue till two days before the event.
