Nupur India, a charitable trust, presented a vibrant cultural programme at the Nehru Memorial Hall on June 27, comprising fashion sequences, classical dances and a kiddies8217; sequence. The show began with a Ganesh Vandana, followed by a fashion show. While the Bus Stop8217; sequence had teenagers putting up a well-choreographed performance, it was Barbie Girl8217;, performed by kids, that really wowed the audience.
An ethnic sequence set to Yanni8217;s Tribute, a Dil To Pagal Hai Hungama8217; round by the entire troupe of 50 participants and another summer wear show by the kids ensured a thunderous applause from the audience. Organised to help the tribal children of the Vachad village, which has been developed by well-known social worker Anutai Wagh, this was Nupur India8217;s fourth show in Pune. And it looks like there8217;s many more to come.
