Chhibber assures help

CHANDIGARH, Dec 3: Office-bearers of over 50 voluntary organisations participated in a meeting presided over by Governor of Punjab Lt Gen B.K.N. Chhibber here today. Stressing the need for closer interaction between NGOs and the administration, he assured all possible help to the former in pursuit of their welfare activities. He said that the Administration had called the meeting to discuss as to how could the objectives of NGOs be best achieved. Jagdish Sagar, Advisor to the Administrator, said that NGOs had been divided into sub-groups on the basis of their activities.
