Chennai Metrowater to arrange for on-line payment

CHENNAI, February 28: The Chennai Metrowater department is working out a method of permitting water consumers to pay their dues at any depot or Metrowater office in the city via an on-line system. The department is also setting up an on-line billing and collection system. The system will be introduced on an experimental basis in the Aminjikkarai, Purusawalkam, Shenoy Nagar and Choolaimedu areas.
