PM rules out talks on LoC
Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee today ruled out any discussions with Pakistan on the basis of the Line of Actual Control in Jammu and Kashmir, says a report from New Delhi.

Railway budget passed
The Lok Sabha today passed the Railway budget for 1998-99 but only after a protracted debate which led Railway Minister Nitish Kumar to announce the setting up of a Railway Safety Review Committee.
