3 defectors8217; back in PUSU fold
Three activists of Punjab University Students8217; Union PUSU, who had joined some other body sometime back, today rejoined their parent organisation. This was stated by PUSU president Binder SIngh in a press statement here today. He said all three 8212; Harvinder SIngh, Amandeep Singh Bawa and Dinesh Kumar 8212; admitted that they were misled by that association.
225 sapplings planted in PU
A total of 225 saplings of Jakaranda were planted at the Sector 25 complex of the Panjab University campus on the occasion of Van Mahotsav, here today. The function was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof M. M. Puri, who planted the first sapling.

REC brochures available in Sec 17 nFor the convenience of the candidates seeking admission in regional engineering colleges in Haryana, brochures have been made available in the Directorate of Technical Education Haryana, SCO 38-39 Sector 17-A Chandigarh, Institute of Engineering College, Hisar and I.A.G., Haryana Emporium, New Delhi and colleges in Kurukshetra, Murthal and Faridabad. This was stated by Raj Kumar Gupta, Haryana8217;s Technical Education Director. The applications will be received till July 23.

Hepatitis camp held
Lions Club S.A.S. Nagar held a Hepatitis-B camp today at Gurdwara Nada Sahib which was visited by thousands of people on the occasion of Puranmasi. More than 300 people were given counsel at the camp, said a press statement issued by the Club.
