GORAKHPUR, JUNE 28: Central Railway Mumbai won the men8217;s singles final by defeating Western Railway Mumbai by 3-2 in the 47th All-India Railway and Open Badminton Championships being played here today.

While the National badminton player Srikant Bakshi of Western Railway defeated Amrish Shinde of Central Railway in the first singles final 15-10 15-1, in the second and third leg Mangrish Palekar and Vivek Gautam of Western Railway defeated T Chauhan and Mayur Ghatnekar by 15-5 15-3 and 15-11 15-9 respectively.

In the double events Sanket Shetty and Arindam Roy Chaudhary of Central Railway defeated Ghatnekar and Mitesh Hazarnis of Western Railway 15-6 15-9 to clinch the title.
