CBI court finds charges against Laloo quot;seriousquot;

PATNA, OCT 31: The designated special CBI court today said the allegations against former chief ministers Laloo Prasad Yadav and Dr Jagannath Mishra besides five others were quot;serious with specific and peculiar featuresquot;.

In his nineteen-page verdict while disposing of the petitions yesterday, judge S K Lal said, quot;the allegations cannot be taken lightly unlike other cases of kickbacksquot;.

The judgement, put up for order, said even the Supreme Court while rejecting the Special Leave Petition of these petitioners had directed this court to decide the bail applications on the basisi of their merit.
