Bush calls up PM

US President George W Bush on Tuesday called PM Manmohan Singh,conveying the greetings of the Government and people of the US on the 60th anniversary of India8217;s Independence. The two leaders also reviewed the status of Indo-US relations in several areas, including civil nuclear energy cooperation. 8220;They expressed satisfaction at the mutually beneficial and cordial nature of relations currently existing between the two countries,8221; said an MEA statement. Bush also conveyed his sympathies on the floods in India.
