Bank’s medico card scheme
The second city branch of Ichalkaranji Janata Sahakari Bank will be operational at Market Yard from October 20. A medico card scheme will be launched with the opening of the new branch.

Under this scheme, anybody could join by depositing Rs 5000, Rs 10,000, Rs 15,000 or Rs 20,000 whereby the member will get benefits of hospitalisation and medicines. The bank will directly clear the hospital bills upto the card value. It will also finance on specific terms for the extra amount of bill. The member will also be entitled for interest till the amount is deposited in the bank under this scheme.

Pravin’s offer
Pravin Masalewale has come up with a special offer for the festive season – an attractive container worth Rs 20 free on the purchase of two 100 gm packs of Pravin Chiwada Masala. The offer includes a free recipe booklet with seventeen different recipes for making chiwda and other delicious snacks.

Greeting tie-up
Vintage Cards and Creations, has tied up with the Cancer Patients Aid Association to produce a range of greeting cards for Diwali. The greeting card designs are assorted – nature, festive, general, floral, abstract and religious.

Priced between Rs 5 and Rs 10, the cards are available at all Hallmark outtelts across the country. They are also being marketed directly by the CPAA. In addition to the CPAA tie-up, Hallmark has introduced 125 new designs for Diwali this year.

Saraf appointed
Arvind Saraf, managing director, Weiler International Electronics Pvt Ltd has been appointed as coordinator- western region ELCINA (Electronic Component Industries Association).

Zip Telecom Limited (Zip Telecom) has launched a unique promotion for potential franchisees under its Zip Standard and Zip Magnum scheme in Pune and Mumbai. Under the promotion, the franchisee who apply for ZipFone will get a free 14-inch Sansui colour television under the standard scheme while a Sansui 2-in-1 will be given free to franchisees applying under the Magnum scheme. Vice-president A P Srivastava said that the company has already has 2000 franchisees in Pune and Mumbai in a short span of six months.
