Award for Comp Engg
The Pune-based Comp Engineering and Exports of the Mojj Group has been awarded export award by the Engineering Export Promotion Council for the year 1997-98.

The Comp Engineering amp; Exports has secured export orders from China and Taiwan against the international competition of world giants for spray drying units. This year too, the company is exporting custom built plant and machinery to Indonesia worth US 800,000. This is the latest design and spray drying plant for producing granular and dust-free products.

Privilege card launch
The Sodexho Pass I is all set to launch the privilege card8217; offering all kinds of benefits in a client organisation.

The Sodexho Pass is engaged in food management services. The use of the Sodexho Pass food vouchers would receive a Sodexho Pass privileges card and a booklet outlining the offers. The service would entitle the user to special offers, privileges and discounts in over 400 premium establishments across India including Pune.

Bharati Bank branch at Delhi
The Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd has opened its first branch outside the State of Maharashtra at New Delhi. It is the bank8217;s 14ht branch. The branch is situated in the educational campus of the Bharati Vidyapeeth, Paschim Vihar. With the opening of the New Delhi branch, the bank has become a multi-status cooperative bank. The bank has approached the Reserve Bank to be recognised as a scheduled bank.

Racold water heater
The Merloni Termosanitari India Limited has introduced the Racold Eterno Instantaneous Water Heater ER I. ER I has a three stage heating option which enables the user control the temperature of the water to suit specific requirements.

ER I has a water sensor which switches off the water heater the moment the tap is closed. This is the first Indian brand to be introduced with a polypropelene outer body and a PUF insulation.

Pro/Desktop 2000i
The Parametric Technology Corporation has introduced Pro/Desktop 2000i as the newest member of the PTC i-series mechanical design automation suite of products. pro/Desktop 2000i is a 3D and 2D design system developed specifically for conceptual engineers and desktop engineers to integrate with the mainstream design process and increase innovation.

Asian Banking award
The Corporation Bank has been conferred with Asian Banking Award 1999 for its outstanding performance in the social responsibility project for its self help groups- linkage programme, implemented during the year 1998.

The bank has receieved the finalist certificates for its high-tech deposit product CorpClassic and cash management product BillClear Service. The awards are given every year to recognise outstanding and innovative products, services, projects and programs implemented by Asia8217;s banks.

Meanwhile, the bank8217;s Camp branch has been completely computerised and airconditioned. Chairman and managing director R S Hugar mentioned that the board of directors has recommended a dividend of 35 per cent on last year8217;s turnover.

Co-op Bank dividend
The Apex Cooperative Bank has declared a dividend of 15 per cent for its shareholders. The bank has seen an increase in its share capital from Rs. 13.32 crore to Rs. 24.73 crore this year. The bank reported a net profit of Rs. 4.91 crore for the fiscal 1999 and its deposits increased from Rs. 354.81 crore to Rs. 547.72 crore, recording a growth of 54.36 per cent.
