CHANDIGARH, Mar 8: UT Judicial Magistrate Ist Class Tejwinder Singh today summoned actor Dilip Kumar in a complaint under Sections 138, 141, 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

In his complaint against Mohd Yusuf Khan alias Dilip Kumar, Sagar Suri and O.P. Nehra, all directors of Sagar Suri Estates and Finances, city resident Vinod Kansal stated he had deposited Rs 12,000 in company8217;s cumulative deposit scheme for two years. He was issued a post-dated cheque of Rs 16,168 but when presented, the cheque was dishonoured due to insufficient funds. The payment was not made despite issuance of a legal notice to respondents.

After going through oral and documentary evidence produced by the complainant, JMIC summoned all the accused for July 29.
