MUMBAI, November 16: For the first time the Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan has joined hands with the National Book Trust of India and Granthali to organise a book fair in its premises. Inaugurated on November 14, the exhibition and sale will be open for book lovers till November 22.

Books in seven languages viz Hindi, Marathi, English, Urdu, Konkani, Kannada and Gujarati are for sale in 64 stalls between 12 noon and 8 pm. The fair is being organised as a tribute to Nehru and Yashwantrao Chavan8217;s love for books. Leading publishing houses like Longman8217;s, Majestic Prakashan, Popular Prakashan, Parchure Prakashan, Akshar Prakashan, ISKCON etc have their stalls. A 10 per cent discount is being offered on all books. The Pratishthan has plans to make the book fair an annual event.
