Bombs seized in Andhra district

HYDERABAD, AUG 15: Police seized 800 petrol bombs and arrested 130 people in this connection in pre-poll raids conducted in different villages in Piduguralla and Gurazala in the faction-ridden Palnada area in Guntur district of AP.

Police here said the raids had been conducted in different faction-ridden villages in the district in the last two days. As many as 15,000 polling stations in AP have been identified as quot;sensitivequot; and police has begun preparation to ensure fair and smooth elections.
