Bomb in a briefcase?

CHANDIGARH, Feb 17: Two days after a suspected bomb turned out to be packets of papad in Sector 27, there was a bomb hoax in Manimajra here today. This time it was a briefcase containing phenol tablets.

Police said around 4 p.m. on getting a tip-off, they rushed to the spot along with the dog squad. Behind the Motor Market, near a tubewell, lay a briefcase with a few phenol tablets inside it.

Police sources said a thief might have emptied it and thrown it there. They are investigating the matter.
