The decomposed body of a 35-year-old unidentified person was found at the Lower Parel railway yard of Central Mumbai on Sunday. The police said that the body was found inside a bogie of a train.
8220;A Railway Protection Force RPF constable found the body in the afternoon while foot patrolling at the railway yard. The body was was emitting foul smell,8221; the police said.
The constable then rushed to the Lower Parel railway station master who informed the N M Joshi Marg police station.
Considering the rotten state of the body, police suspect that it might have been lying inside the bogie for over a week. The body has been for post mortem.
