If you thought a blazer can only be worn to work with a pair of formal trousers and shirt, think again. The blazer has now become one of the most versatile pieces of clothing in wardrobes of celebrities such as Jackie Shroff and Karan Johar. “Whether you want to look casual or dressed up, blazers will add a polished look to your outfit,” says designer Nikasha Tawadey. Blazers in velvet, tweed and corduroy go best with a pair of jeans.However, baggy jeans should never be worn with a formal blazer. “Only crisp, well-fitted jeans will look good with a formal blazer, otherwise the look becomes shabby,” says designer Ravi Bajaj. Blazers can also be teamed with a pair of corduroy pants for a laidback, casual look.
