Blast case solved, claim Surat cops

SURAT, Feb 21: The Pandesara police of the city claimed to have finally solved the crude bomb blast case in the Siddharth Nagar slum with the arrest of the same person who filed the police complaint.

While Shankar Deenbandhu 8 died on the spot after the bomb went off at lane no 12 of the Siddharth Nagar slum, near Bhestan, on February 11, Kanu Devaram Sahu 9 and Nitu Gopinath Goud 10 were released from the New Civil Hospital after five days.

Indra Gantai Behra, the complainant, was arrested by the Pandesara police after investigations revealed that Behra himself had masterminded the blast to get even with an 8220;enemy8221;. The police are now looking for another accused, one Videshi Behra, who has been absconding since the blast.
