THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, DECEMBER 10: Thousands of BJP workers today blockaded the four gates of the Government Secretariat, the seat of power in Kerala, in protest against the 8220;political fascism of the CPI-M and its policy of physically suppressing political rivals8221;.

The blockade, which started at 9 am, nearly brought to a standstill the functioning of the secretariat as many employees could not enter the offices.

The BJP All India General Secretary, Venkaiah Naidu addressed the BJP workers at all the gates of the secretariat and warned the CPI-M of serious consequences if it did not change its ways.

Similar blockades were being enforced by the BJP at all the district headquarters and Talukas. The blockade had affected traffic along the main road.
