BJP has launched a nationwide campaign, BJP at every booth. The party’s aim it to establish a unit at every polling booth in the country, which could substantially improve its poll prospects. Rajnath Singh is first taking up the BJP-ruled states, which should contribute the majority of seats in the event of an election.

Advani said it had become “certain” that the Congress-led Government will not last its entire term and elections may be held in 2007 or 2008. “Though it is not clear exactly when the Manmohan Singh Government will collapse, it is sure that it will not survive beyond 2008,” the former Deputy Prime Minister predicted.
